Assistant Vice Provost for Student Life, Student Engagement Operations
Dr. Tony Tambascia serves as the Assistant Vice Provost for Student Life, Student Engagement Operations with a portfolio that includes Recreational Sports, Residential Education, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and the Spirit of Troy. Dr. Tambascia has held various positions in his 32 years with USC, including Director of Academic Recognition Programs and Executive Director of the Office of International Services.
Dr. Tambascia has an extensive record of partnerships and collaboration across the university building support systems and engagement opportunities for students, and managing change and growth to benefit the student community and develop the future structure, mission, and strategic plan of USC Student Life. He also held volunteer positions in NAFSA: Association of International Educators and has presented at national, regional and international higher education conferences and events.
Before joining USC, Dr. Tambascia worked at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Rollins College.
